Admire My Pain

Each tiny detail
is wrapped up
in the catastrophe
spread out
cracked
if it were shattered
broken
a mess on the floor
wear your boots
protect yourself
somehow
from the pain
you'd feel if you were
to walk barefoot
across the floor
I envision this,
no emotion showing
he steps back
to admire it all
