Psychic is the new normal - Chad Mercree

It was the flowing time then 
I flew free with the flock in convivial sky 
I could join the kith and kin
Sing together the spring song.

It was the flowing time then   
I returned to the lively nest 
To be with you all in fond closeness  
Of unrestrained cordial intimacy. 
 
It is the stalled time now 
The menacing shadow of invisible virus   
Turned the nest into a cage  
Morale languishes isolated in abyss.
 
It is the stalled time now 
Changed scenario redefined intimacy
Struggling to recoup the secluded psyche 
I adjust with the ways of new normal.
