Adeleke(Pronounced Ha Day Lay Kay)
(To learn more about this fascinating young man, see his blogs!)
Adeleke, Adeleke, you blew in like a breeze;
A breath of welcome air, you set us all at ease.
Adeleke, Adeleke, already I can see
You have a cheerful nature and a love of poetry.
Adeleke, Adeleke, you’re not my son-in-law,
And yet already I’ve become your new adopted ma!
Adeleke, Adeleke, your fame is spreading wide.
You’ll be the son in whom ALL of us older gals confide!
Adeleke, Adeleke, I know you seek a wife.
But don’t be rushed; relax and learn to just enjoy life.
Adeleke, Adeleke, with all your many charms,
I’m sure that soon enough, you’ll hold a wife inside your arms.
And one last thing, Adeleke, my son-in-poetRAY,
Is it “Ha day LAY kay,” “Ha DAY lay kay” or “Ha day lay KAY?”
