Addiction

I want you gone
so why are you still holding on
I don't need you any more!
so let me go, go on 
I've shown you the door
I've found peace, within the grace of God
this love is so much more 
than you could ever try to endure
My freedom is awaiting me
please.... I beg you, set me free
I DON'T EVER WANT YOU ANY MORE
DO YOU NOT SEE I'M NO LONGER YOURS...
I have been set free redeemed, by my God

John Ginesi July 5, 2013 at 2:15 AM Hi Denise, I like the approach on this poem, direct action, it sounds like you are driving the Devil away from you, it is almost done in an amusing way, you have a flair for this and maybe you could write some humorous poems it may be a good challenge for you, it is sometimes difficult to do romantic poems, as I don't do too many myself, but this is very good, all the best.
