Addicting Yet Contradicting
Love can be so addicting
Feelings can be so Contradicting
While love may be felt by one maybe lust is felt by the other
Make sure you both share the same genuine feelings for one another
While you may be struck by love at first sight
Maybe your partner isn't looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right
You should know feelings shared are completely legitimate
Before you dive into getting fully intimate
If you're aiming to receive unwavering devotion,affection,and attention
You should be aware of your partners true intentions
If friends with benefits just isn't your thing
Let them know that you won't be a puppet strung along on a string
With no real time for commitment maybe you're just looking for some fun
Be straight forward and tell them you'll be gone with the morning sun
Weather short term or long term make sure you're both on the same page
You may save yourself from regret and heartbreak from activities in which you'd engage
Weather looking for a ring or a simple one night stand
Love surely doesn't always work out the way you planned
Sometimes it creeps up on you when you least expect
You never know where you'll meet your perfect prospect
What's meant to be will be
Sometimes you have to open yourself up to the unknown to see
Love is mysterious some will say
Love will always find a way
Maybe it's not about saving yourself from heartache at all but taking a gamble and a roll of the dice
Who knows maybe these unorthodox ways were missed opportunities passing up your soulmate and you payed the ultimate price
Feelings can always change and if you don't give it a whirl you'll never know
It sure would be a shame to let it slip through your fingertips without giving it a chance to blossom and grow
For it's better to have loved and lost then to have never experienced it at all
You never know it may turn out to be well worth the fall
Love can be so addicting
