Action Adventure of Faith

Zooming with faith wings toward his scheduled biblical adventures surpassing so-called super heroes’ feats... my special child today leaves his wheel chair as he takes his flight for heavenly quests with prophet Elijah’s chariot of fire! His eyes behold great miracle in its active mode along God’s omnipotence displayed… such is the creation of the universe with all its elements through the Almighty’s potent words yet the best is the bringing to life of the first man, Adam and the first woman, Eve with the Creator’s very hands culminating with the first-ever wedding in the Garden of Eden. Then, my son dashes to his favorite fighting arena for a close view, defying his spastic epilepsy’s seizure to watch the replay of David and Goliath match… oh, how he claps with glee as he sees his champion first praying to the Lord for help and then swirling his sling to defeat the giant, with a smashing fall. Placing the Bible story book in his bed’s nook my son nudges me for tomorrow’s bout challenging my sweet patience along story-telling prowess to make alive so vividly great events recorded in the Scriptures for his delight which is likewise my soul empowerment: acting out genuine faith in the strength* of Christ by serving and reaching-out with love and joy.
Psalm 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord GOD: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only. May 18, 2020 10th place, "Action Adventure" Premier Poetry Contest Sponsored by Chantelle Anne Cooke; judged on 5/18/2020.

That story is indeed a great one, but with my younger grandchildren I leave out the barbaric parts of the aftermath. You relay this splendidly Beata. Congratulations on your wonderful win! Blessings xxoo
