The poem was written for one of my roommates, Brenda Lee Kime. She passed away a few years ago, on March 28, 2020. On April 1st, she would have celebrated her 70th birthday, may God rest her soul. She wasn't forgotten though, and I have worked on this poem for quite some time, six or seven months. Her companion, Todd Gunter, my landlord, and my friend passed away recently, on July 24, 2022, may they both R.I.P.

Acrostic - Brenda Lee Kime Brightens - your day, seeing her smile. Rendering - her day with a bit of style Everything - was to make you think Never - would she let you wink Dear - hearted woman, she'd love to drink Aha - then she would cause a big stink. Loving - Warm, Gentle, and Kind. Everything - she'd say made you think awhile Educated - woman trying to make you smile. Killing - you softly with her song. In - her beautiful balloon, she rides Money - Monday goes through her mind Exploding - with a great big smile!

Michael, I'm very honored by your presence in my journey today. You've placed a smile, embedded in my heart, for your kind words here and across some of my poetry. I'm blessed indeed, with you, for one, and your presence in my life today. You've kind of made me speechless, here, I'm honored. God Bless you, my friend. Best of Wishes, William
