Across the Miles

Across the miles, my heart does yearn,
For you to know the love I burn.
In distant lands, you dwell so far,
Yet in my soul, you are my star.

Each moment planned, each meeting near,
The world conspires, but we persevere.
Yet obstacles, they bar our way,
But love like ours will never sway.

I dream of days when we unite,
Under the same sky, stars so bright.
But until then, with hope I'll wait,
For fate to grant a shared embrace.

With patience, dear, let's brave this test,
Our love, it soars above the rest.
Through every storm and endless night,
Our hearts will find a way to light.

So hold on tight, my distant love,
With faith and trust in skies above.
For though the world may keep us still,
Our love, undying, finds its will.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Have a blessed day.
