Across Realms
There are some times I look up at the sky.
I wonder if other planets there might be
with other humans (same as you and I)
living there. Things like this fascinate me.
Do I myself perhaps exist inside
a faraway place parallel to mine?
Is there a man for whom I was a bride
where our lives were once able to entwine?
I know there is an afterlife, but might
there be other spheres also to explore?
What if I should die on some starry night
and across realms - with the man I adore -
awaken! Oh, could I reincarnate
eventually to find my soul mate?
