Notes About The Poem

Acrimonious Acronyms - No Place For Me In Icu

I'm at my office at the AMA I have a seizure, but I’m not DOA So I get transported to the local ER Who call my ex wife, she works in PR Before I get treatment by a young MD They want insurance and proof of my ID But my evil ex had arranged a DNR It’s clear to see that I am FUBAR! *apology for use of the F but you will see that the acronym fitted in perfectly with the theme and the sponsor said it could be humorous! Congrats on your high placing Jan. I had to look up FUBAR again as I’d forgotten it’s meaning. Still funny. Terry

From the German: furchtbar = "terribly" adverb. via Yanks who could not pronounce the "rch" and did not want to use, "SNAFU" (Situation Normal All F-Up) Clever, clever, Jan! Aloha! Rico
