According To Time
I do not think there is truths in anything we say
Because it’s like lies... changing in accordance to time
Living with someone or no one... day after day
What else really...do we seek to find?
When is the last time you lie through your teeth?
In order to maintain a status with a once truth you no longer believe?
When is the first lie your tongue will weave?
In this modern world for the listening ear to conceive...
We even lie to ourselves to believe its true
How else will the world go round with its truth?
To only be powerless... me and you
We are foolishly playing a foolish game being the fool
And it doesn’t take a talent to get it... we felt it
It does take a talent to identify though
Yet flourish both... the strong and the weak
Sooner then the resisted later do we do as we are told
I do wonder sometimes from an eventual day
The credibility of truth and lies you will awake to find
And a memory can affect what a modern you might say
With your given timeline... do you change in according time?
