Accepting Where We Are

Reading sheds comforting light on calamity When things don’t go our way When we feel forgotten When we lose our way When we struggle It feels like no end is in sight These are trials They are test from Eternal God for our refinement Our instruction and our good Like a good parent Eternal God is more concerned with our character than our comfort He wants us to experience our lessons and grow from them He does not always alter our circumstances or eliminate their consequences When we represent Eternal God for our lessons We built a barrier between us We prolong our pain Instead of insisting Try accepting our current situation Or suffering and rename it “lesson” Then get to work on learning how to pass the test
