Accept That Change Is Truth

My dearest, broken lady
Take it easy on yourself
Reminiscing, bait less fishing
Your youth will not prevail

Sweet and shamed mother
Let loose of all regret
The children, you are building
They still need you, yet

Your life will keep unfolding
Long passed your prideful youth
You must let go of what you know
Accept that change is truth

Dear imperfect woman
Don’t paint yourself, generic
To you, there’s more, a vibrant core
Don’t hide your life, but wear it

Anna this is a wonderful poem with all the needed review that its who we are not what we look like and lets move on to the next phase of life. But it is hard to do Anna, not as fast as a poem, but years my young friend.
