"BELOVED, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER, FOR LOVE IS OF GOD AND EVERYONE THAT LOVETH IS BORN OF GOD AND KNOWETH GOD. HE THAT LOVETH NOT KNOWETH NOT GOD FOR GOD IS LOVE." 1John 4:7-8
I'm just like you, I really am,
I'm really not so odd.
I have my ways, I guess that's true,
And for that I thank my God;
For we all have certain attributes,
That differ from the rest;
Ways and habits we have formed,
That oft times aren't the best;
But that's what makes us who we are,
And sets us each apart,
As separate individuals,
But still with soul and heart.
I may not think or talk like you,
Opinions often differ,
But after all is said and done,
I am still your sister.
Accept me just the way I am,
As God meant me to be,
As I accept the way you are,
For God loves you and me.
