Abra Cadabra Alacazam

Abra cadabra alacazam Where is Mary’s little lamb? Lost in cyber space somewhere. Finding friends without a care. Behind the doors of the castle wall There might be a prince standing tall. A place to love, a place to fall, It might just be a free for all. Abra cadabra alacazam I raise my staff, fireball in hand. Hear my words, dear little lamb. Adventure lurks in cyber land. Real world living might be fun. But cyber friends are number one. Understanding hearts are flung. Upon a hope, dreams are hung. Wait… Abra cadabra alacazam Please get rid of all this spam. I cannot read my writes from friends. Spam bombardment never ends. A flash of light through the cyber world, Seeks my mind with every whirl. I must delete when much is hurled. It’s much too much for this old girl. © June 7, 2011 Dane Ann Smith-Johnsen Inspired by Poetry Soup Member Contest: Magic Words Sponsored by: Leighann Anderson (But not entered because I wrote in the wrong form…it was fun!)

Witty message about spam at the end, Dane Ann. You could easily rework this into free verse form. Hope you will as I love your spin on the picture. Great write! Prayers and blessings for you today. Love, Carolyn
