About Old Times
About old times have often thought
And all the things I should have bought
But now only as memories all still exist
To write poems people insist and persist.
So another new poem I now will write
About the time I was flying a kite
Wind was bad and there was poor me
Whose body was almost blown out to sea.
My wife thought I was clever and cute
And was a Horn who didn't give a hoot
My memories of the past all now fade
As I am here now sitting in the shade.
God in His great glory will come one day
Gladly greet and with Him take me away
You're here in heavenly finally at last
Gone by has each moment of my past
