So deceptively simple and yet ... a light goes off in my mind and I instantly know the feeling. You have the humble skill of some of greats in haiku / monoku, Paul. Excellent one-liner to say the least.

To think Paul that it is just this morning that I am saying to James that I wish us to walk on falling foliage, and i ask if can i roll or toss them up to the air like a kid so carefree... Hahahah i see you won! But am so sure your poems will always be recognized... They are lovely Paul and I can still remember the first poem i read from yours: sweet memory.. Hugs and smiles, olive eloisa :)

Hi Olive_eloi:) ..emm Mrs Fraser...It is so lovely to have you back commenting in your inimitable style:) I appreciate your feedback; shows you read and search for hidden meanings, too. Yes, Sweet Memory was one of the first, though I have a feeling there was Light & Dark prior to that:):) Hugs and smiles to you too:) Warm regards ~ paul

Let me say comment regarding the poem: maybe im wrong but i say there is something deep with the last words of your poem sweeping to the back of my mind and frail leaves... Frail leaves... I can interpret this in two ways... But maybe am wrong... :)
