These are the Aborigines We have ruined there lives It is time to say sorry and meaningful goodbyes We had different believes and stories to tell But not all of them were happy They weren’t settling down very well And I am sorry to say, the war was hell! They got there swords and spears And we’re ready to fight But all hope was gone It was like turning a human into a light! Cannons were full to the brim And men were ready Some children were stolen and bulbs and branches got in the way But now we have said our say And Australia will always be their place to stay
