Abode

Its a home provided by two
Some from me and some from you
A serene place ,yet often loud
A place called home , which we are proud
Many have stopped just to pass us by
Yet its this old home that we can rely
The walls are crumbling,& the floor is damp wet
No theirs not any holes atleast none weve found yet
Its a home provided by two
Some from me & some from you
The children who one graced this home
Packed their bags to adventure alone
Their time had come and their prints were made
Yet in their minds this old home stayed
I think this home still speaks its mind
Yet only when wishing to retreat back in time
Its a home provided by two
Some from me and some from you
To those who have loved this old rickety test
Remember every thing must be laid to rest
And if the architects dont believe its true
I will invite them to live here too
Breath in the mold and inhale all the mites
While creating homes that keep us alive.
