Abiding In God
I desire to abide in God’s heart*
From His will I strive not to depart
Staying in His marvelous presence
Hiding against vain haughtiness-dart.
My heart delights in Holy Scriptures
To learn from sovereign wisdom-features
Letting His Word rule over my soul
Listening while Holy Ghost nurtures.
Dedicating myself to the King
Submitting to His righteous breaking
Trusting fully His prudent guidance
Serving Him along faithful working.
*John 15:10 …Abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
