Abandoned
Alone in the darkness.
Alone in the night.
The tears hide her shame,
she wanders lost in fright.
Innocence gracing the spirit inside.
Tragedy fades,
but the memories still linger in her mind,
The angels greet her softly,
lighting her path.
She prays she won't ever cross the lies of her past.
Desperation.
Suffocation.
Damnation.
Stranded.
Abandoned.
Music fills her ears,
she strays the broken path,
Beauty surrounding her in spiral light,
secretly she knows she can't go back.
As she wanders helplessly through the night,
a voice from Heaven speaks aloud in her mind.
Desperation.
Suffocation.
Damnation.
Stranded.
Abandoned.
Locked away as the pain sinks in.
Lost you tremble as the cold shrouds your body.
All you trusted in seems to fade.
You turn again, so alone,
suffocating in the tears of desperation.
She whispers goodbye to the light
and hello to the night.
Her heart breaking in two.
Desperation.
Suffocation.
Damnation.
Stranded.
Abandoned.
