Abandoned

ABANDONED
Yesterday, roaming deep in the countryside, I came upon a house. Deserted, derelict, long forgotten The garden, neglected, Left to nature’s own devices. I wandered through the waist-high grass And there, tucked away in a corner, A greenhouse. Or the remains of one. A few lonely panes of glass, Clinging resolutely to the rotting timber. A poignant write with beautiful imagery, Bryn! I enjoyed the read. We have similar metaphors in our entries, but I like yours better, especially the greenhouse...lots of luck in the contest. Blessings, Rhonda xx
