Aaro and The Bird
"How does it feel” asks Aaro,
"to ride these currents of air?"
"Like dancing with invisible partners,"
the bird sings back.
"See how mountains
wear clouds like soft crowns"
"They look like sleeping giants,"
whispers Aaro.
"Rivers below us wind
like silver serpents," calls the bird.
"Threading through valleys
like thoughts through dreams."
"Why do humans build walls
when the sky has none?" asks the bird.
"We create boundaries to feel
safe," Aaro replies.
"Look how forests
breathe below," the bird gestures.
"I see their green lungs expanding,
just like ours."
"Time looks different
from up here," sings the bird.
"Centuries fold into moments
when we soar this high."
"The ocean stretches endlessly,
like possibility."
"Do you ever feel lost
between sky and earth?"
"I belong everywhere
and nowhere, like you."
"We are both travellers,
neither lost nor found," whispers the bird.
"Just passing through wonders,
collecting moments."
"Thank you for
sharing your wings with me."
"And I for your willingness
to fly alongside me."
Together they soar, between earth and sky,
Conversation flows like wind currents,
Their dialogue paints the canvas of clouds.
