A World of Peace

A World of Peace
by Bob Moore 
        
You have not been, where I have been
you have not seen, what I have seen
man’s inhumanity to his fellow man
most would never understand

There is no front line to this war
any day it can come to your door
and cause you pain and misery
show things you thought you would never see

But through it all, we must endure
until the world is again secure
and we can go about our life
without the threat of fear and strife

We hope that that, will be the way
our grandchildren will live one day
in a world of peace and toleration
and acceptance from every nation
