Notes About The Poem

Senior couple having rest during tea-time — Stock Photo © pressmaster ...

A Woman For All Seasons

When winter comes it’s very cold
You’re always near for me to hold

In the summer when it’s hot
Your iced sweet tea sure hits the spot

Then fall arrives with blowing leaves
Hand in hand walking in the breeze

Spring brings beauty and hope in life
Just like you my soulmate and wife

Such a warm and heartfelt piece, Bill! I love how you’ve tied each season to the comfort and joy of love so tender and timeless. The ending beautifully crowns the poem with devotion. Lovely work!
