A Winter's Night

************* Gold bronzed sunset told a lie The winter storm came As the night passed by High drifts progress was made While the night was as Black as the Ace of Spades Silver moon was riding high But it's light grew so dim Behind the midnight sky Morning brightly arrived But the sparkling of the Landscape hurt my eyes Sporadic flakes still flew Drippy icicles had accrued Winter I am so tired of you ******************

Nice description, Janet, you really caught the character of a storm. Nice. Dave

Don't like storms do not appeal to me no matter how pretty the landscape is the next day. Once winter is here I just want it to go away.

This was great. We don't get much winter at all where I live but what little we do get, I tire of quickly. ; )

I visited that area in September of 15, somewhere near Stroudsburg at a B&B, hoping for a little fall weather. It was warmer there than it was in Texas where I am from at the time. :)

Try living in Northeastern PA, on second thought don't. Spring summer and fall are delightful but the winter is frightful! Thanks for the review. (smile)
