I have never been good at writing haiku, but I do admire when it is done well by a true poet. Well done! Makes me wish there was snow where I live.

Andrea, this is a show stopper - the meeting of man and nature against a winter backdrop and you lived to tell the story making new footprints in the snow! Will be thinking about your encounter for a long time! We love to snowshoe. Sending you blessings!

Excellent, chuckled heartily. To answer your question regarding Australia, we are one country made up of 5 States and 2 Territories. States and Territories that maintain some independence from each other and the Commonwealth. Not all states and territories have the same laws, unless they are commonwealth laws. I understand that the United States are very similar. The upshot is, none of our States or Territories have dealt with COVID the same, and all have defied the Commonwealth at some stage.

WoW! Excellent Haiku. Think I'd turn back to right now. I remember going on a fishing trip with my husband and my dog found some fresh bear tracks. I got scared and went back and told him. We decided to fish elsewhere. God Bless, JB
