A Windy Day

It is snowing out
The wind is blowing
Spreading on the ground
The wind is blowing
While the snow zigs zags

The wind is still blowing
With the snow fallen
Falling to the ground
In a deep[ pile
Spreading evenly

All the trees boughs white
No longer bare and cold
They are dre3ssed up warm
With the cover of snow
Like a white blanket

Hi Darlene! On 2/22, KY had the same weather landscape. In KY, February is dreaded as it can go from a week of daffodils growing to having the next week all ice! Yikes. I too think of the shivering trees. Thank you for this very lovely, picturesque poem!

Hello Sally, Yes you never know what type of weather anyone can get in Feb. Also winter tends to stick around longer. I remember winter staying until April. Spring was late. Oh your welcome. Hugs. /Darlene/
