A Wind of Change

A Wind of Change A wind of change ,blows over our land. Scotlands destiny is in our hand We had a chance to play freedoms dance, Lies were told, promises sold, By westminsters treacherous band. A people torn between truth and lie, A dream born , doomed to die, To walk in the steps o, Bruce and Wallace, A step too far for most of us, Will we walk this path again? With might, integrity and strength Oer this land the breadth and length, Speak of truth and unity, As one , together sing one song, Freedoms road will not be long. Andrew McIntyre.

Andrew, Loved this poem. I also have a passion for Scottish history. I have a couple posted. One about Bannockburn and one about Culloden. Check them out if you like. If not, Up your kilt. Just kidding. Peace and love. Graham Devenish
