A Widow

the widow’s face
 so full of sadness
 is hidden under lace
 her sobbing fills the church
 as none could take her
 dear husband’s place

This is a very, very, good entry into Nette's contest, I don't think I could do better my friend as you have done so excellently with this tremendous write! I was trying to think how I could write a Halloween entry but am not sure how Nette would feel about that, she likes my Frightfully Dark Poetry that I do for fun, but this would be for her contest! I dunno! I truly loved reading this awesome poem here this evening! Great Work!!

I feel the sadness in this one..Reads like winning material to me..You have lately come close to this event in life so can somewhat understand..Sara
