A Whimsical Fantasy

dreaming in clouds as the night time unfolds sliding down rainbows and looking for gold searching the dark for a lover to hold keeping you warm on a night that’s so cold under the stars watching lunar eclipse with your sweet lover on make believe ships lost in the clouds on your fantasy trips butterfly kisses so soft on your lips embraces that take you to faraway lands strolling bare footed on pearly white sands feeling caresses with gentle soft hands aching for passion your body demands alone with these feelings my thoughts are confined being alone now my will has resigned whispers from breezes that come from behind fantasies echoing deep in my mind

It is amazing, because in dreams- or a fantasy, anything is possible. :) So, with that being said. This Fantasy has become real. (Just imagine) Congratulations John, on this win. :) Brandy

THIS IS GOING INTO MY FAVS! Where to begin? Until the last stanza, I actually wanted to live inside your imagery, then I was hit with reality which is darn realistic. This is profound and I swear I actually heard the sweet ache of musical notes accompany my read. Love it. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

The images our subconscious minds release when we're dreaming can be amazing, John. The butterflies, fantasies and make-believe ships would make we want to sleep all of the time. What a joy it is to be set free like this. Awesome writing, as usual, John! Hugs, Carolyn
