A War Within
Be the change you wish to see
in a world full of greed
When all you ever think about is "me"
Stop sipping on your perfect cup of tea
While others are sent out to bleed.
Why can't you stop, look around and see?
People are going hungry and asking with a plea
That you change your ways and do a good deed
But you can't stop thinking all about "me"
People get worn and beaten down to their knees
Just tired of life, they set staring with a true plead
Will you ever stop to think of us instead of me?
So go ahead and only think of thee
But while your going through life full speed
you'll never stop to look and see,
Because all you ever think about is "me."
