A Walk In the Rain

Store some precious memories in your pocket and take a walk in the rain Stick your tongue out to catch the raindrops pretend your a kid once again Sing along with the chirping sparrows as you merrylee skip along Try to remember friends you shared time with and your Father's hands so big and strong Imagine your Mother's soothing words as she sent you off to school Think of your first infatuation and crush and how you acted like such a fool The child in us may pass with time but is always close at hand If you will only take the time to remember the memories are yours to command So take a trip back to simpler times when it seemed that summer days would never end Your childhood memories will travel with you on that you can depend
