A Vulnerable Lie

Honestly.
 it wasnt me .
It was never really in my reach.
Never knowing what could be.
 I persecuted everything about 
you and me .

time open my eyes,
Vulnerable lie.
IS it too late to  cry?
Can't get back what
 she
 took 
away.
I thought I had It all, 
my first love 
Truly its faith.
Love is complicated.
 Can't be explained.
 Made fun of me, 
as your ex stood there
And all our friends.
You laugh 
Not knowing ,I was scared.
Cause I  told a
VULNERABLE LIE 
I still gave you a chance ,
Proving 
my worth

IT's my fault when I told you ,
it wouldn't work 
if you lied
SHARED A 
Vulnerable lie 
You wanted to see where this leads
 I started the poison
  vulnerable piece.
A place where I won the noose  
To hang me.

We both wanted to
hide the vulnerable piece.
Put it behind us.

Why would you ask me a
question,
If you didnt want to
 answer you own question?
Will the  outcome change
If you knew I was weak?

Vulnerable lie
Hypocrite you
Hypocrite  me
I betray you too
Trying to save what we made.
I know you wish you knew about me

Im losing that race.
If it came up again!
Would you do the same ?
Pick me?
to protect 
Us now?
A
Vulnerable lie 
we both told 
that would've change our destiny.
