A Voice Within
I vast in my aloneness
With a pen
At the end of my fingers
It moves to the direction
In which my heart speaks
Every word
That is written
Leads me closer to peace
They say it surpasses...
All understanding
Yet sometimes the feeling
Is too
Overwhelming
Silence knocks daily
In a world of chaos
Finding its way through...
Yet we fail to listen
Again and again
To the sound
Of nothing...
Only to find
The unspoken
To be true
So hear my words
I yield to speak
Find meaning behind
My soul
For the power within
Runs deep
In a river of silence
They flow
