A Voice From Afar

Snow covered empty streets
Surrounded by cold winter air
A voice from afar brings kind words
Melting hurt, like ice disappearing
You never know when someone, anyone,
May reach out in these ways
You never know when your own words
May reach another these days
In lonely times, lifting smiles on faces
A voice from afar can be just as powerful
As a voice from some place nearby
Giving hope and inspiration…
To be, to love, to try!
