A Universe Is Spawn

In the begining, there was nothing, or so we're told
So how is it possible for this story to unfold?
How can suns make bone and gold?
While most of space is freezing cold.

When space was empty, how did hydrogen form?
That set events in motion when time was born
With a very big bang the desolation was torn
And a Universe was able to spawn.

From nothing came everything and all between
Some sort of surrealistic eternal dream
But, what does anything really mean?
Upon death shall truth be seen?

Thought provoking.....I take it all in by Faith alone myself...that it was simply spoken into existence....Enjoyed your poem !! Congrats on your placement in the contest !!
