A True Companion

Her memories swell-up in our bosom spontaneously And get hold our whole being so overwhelmingly Moistening our eyes and lifting our spirits joyfully That asserts her deep love for us all, quite candidly. Her years of memorable stay with us here precisely Was caringly ordained by the providence specially To assuage our woes that gripped us so mercilessly Offered succour to the entire household constantly. Hard-boiled masses perhaps may never understand That unarguably cemented our sentimental bond That ever lives on between us and affectionate Rani Defy all dry logic and rationale of doubting mind. Is it possible to insulate scent from a cute flower? Or warmth from the bosom of a godlike mother Or ardour from the inviting hugs of a friend near Suffer amnesia from the memoirs of Rani, the dear. Fifteen long years of sweet and constant bond Made her part and parcel of our very being Though there is the seemingly bodily separation She ever lives in our hearts as a steady companion.
