A Tribute To Michael Jackson

The world never really knew you
Many found it hard to understand you
But your music united a nation
And joined worlds far apart.

Our opposites became similarity
And your music brought joy to our heart
You were a mighty man
Your nature was childlike.

Your sense of humor was strange
Ambitious were you and emotional you became
Your love for children brought you joy
And accomplishments were made.

Cruel at times we were
Many keen to tarnish your name
But history had it that your name will live on
As a legend and king among kings.

A son of Mo town and a prince of pop
Outrageous was thriller and millions were made
A song by a god that will never be forgotten.

I always thought I wouldn't care. Even after I was twittered, after TMZ was first on the scene, I didn't care. Something is gone, and you hit the spot. He was a world-shaker.
