A Tribute To Dr King

I have a dream
But Dr King
Had a vision
He lived it out
Made great decisions
He had a dream
And he made it a reality
Paved the way for you and me
He had a dream
That one day that we would be more than what others display
He had a dream
That we had won
And one day we should overcome
Overcome the obstacles
That life throws
And our voice matters
That way we shouldnt hold
Back our great ideas
That we should do more than exist
We should live
He had a dream that our skin color shouldn't matter
And still til this day
People judge us by it and that makes it sadder
He had a dream that little girls and boys could play
And not be brought up on the word hate
He had a dream
That we could be
Anything we desired
Inspired
Is what he did
Made sure we would be equal
Made sure we had rights
Made sure we weren't in a dark place
But we would see the light
He did alot but never stopped the fight
He fought for us to his last breath
He didn't just think of himself
Watching Little boy king
When we were small
Living out the dream through it all
We owe our gratitude
To such a great man
Had a great plan
And lived it
If he had anything
He would give it
A great father a friend a husband and so much more
A name that we will always adore
A civil rights leader an achiever
A believer
On this day we celebrate your birth
Yes we do
I wouldnt have it any other way this is my tribute to you
Happy Birthday
