A Trapped Angel

You are a sneaky sly fox Trapping me inside a box Of lies I do not deserve What ever gave you the nerve To treat me with such creulty When did I become the Punching bag for your aggression You need to be taught a lesson About feelings being bruised It is not kind to be used As an outlet for behavior That will simmer as you savor The victory of being mean You really need to clean Up your act before you find What its like to be unkind As I break out of this prison That for years you've kept me in Full of revenge and desire Now you will be under fire As my temper starts to grow You could feel every blow Of the hurt, sorrow and pain Buried deep inside my brain All the memories coming back Of hurtful words--untruthful lies You were clever to disguise More and more I feel glow Of a fire down below Deep inside that wants to take You to the hell that made me break I am on the very brink Of bad actions--but I think I am not on the same level I don't want to be the devil This free angel will not hurt Or treat anyone like dirt So I just give you a warning To make sure to start turning Your lying ways around and fast One day you will get the wrath Of one more victim you have trapped With no control once they have snapped
