A wonderful sense of Japanese cuisine, I feel as if I am standing in one of their food mart. Good!

I love seafood so would be wiling to try this interesting sounding dishes. Not typical fare for Saint Patricks Day though! You are good at these, Brian! Thans for sharing! Love, Robin

Hmmm....not sure about the heering or octopus balls....but I'm game to try most everything! Recently, neighbor just came home from the coast and gave us calamari (squid) from the ocean that he had caught, my first attempt to fix it wasn't so great, but found out it needs to be pounded to tenderize...tasted ok after that!! the first time I fixed it was like eating rubber!

Love herring and sushi, not quite sure about the octopus balls, but if it's fried - I'm in! How exotic and delicious! Love, Shar
