A Touch of Nature

She steps out on the balcony, in the soothing night air, combing her slim fingers through her shiny, coarse hair.. Her gown sways at her ankles with its lavender blend, dancing to and fro with the flow of the wind. She extends her arms, resting her hands upon the deck, with her silky hair strands draping her shoulders and neck. She stares the waves calmly moving inland and away, as they’re guided by the wind day after day. Copyright 2007 INSIGHTS by R. A. Jones - Published by Publish America

Congratulations, Roderick, on having your well-written poem featured this week. The quatrain rhyme scheme with lines 2 and 4 rhyming throughout the poem work well giving your poem a nice flow. Keep writing. Lovingly, Dane
