A Timeless Summer
The Summer skies were filled with gliding birds
While I saw only you, beneath the blue
Love's eyes spoke the truth without any words
Summer breezes caressed our love so new
I felt your passion lift my highest height
Saw the world vanish, to see only you
We felt the sweat from our palms day and night
Found the fervor we could never subdue
Whether beneath the sun or moonbeams bright
We drifted through love's warm romantic themes
Into softer realms of earthly delight
Full of sighs and whispers from lover's dreams
To find wellsprings of hunger, both would fill
A timeless Summer, I remember still
