I always cherish a time for us of blazing love divine, ceaselessly prevailing passionately quenching coldness trying to envelop my heart… Thank You, my dearest Saviour for Your ardent care that never fails. A time for us, my precious Messiah indeed assures me Your warm presence sealing me with Your upholding gracious embrace midst spiritual caress of pardon’s kiss, marked by Your tender mercy. In a time for us around glowing fellowship verily kindling embers of my fervent adoration my soul finds comfort and serenity in Your security-haven exuding vibrant intimacy that sweet partnership offers, sublimely blissful. Your compassion* ignites my service in a time for us, Lord, to minister together keeping me blest as to You I keep drawing near with praise-filled confidence reverberating commitment whisper. Oh, I always delight in a time for us amidst stress as You lead me to Your refreshing pastures, my good Shepherd for revival fires in reaching-out pursuits while sharing Your Gospel toward radiant soaring along stewardship functions of faith’s ascent.
*Psalm 145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. August 22, 2020 2nd place, "A Time For Us" Poetry Contest Sponsored by JCB Burl; judged on 8/27/2020.
