My library has grown and grown, so many books- my shelves groan; there are more books than I can ever read, but they keep coming like a need. There are tilting piles of books along walls, accumulated in time both the big- and smalls; books, books on each table . . . to read all I will be unable. I can hear them - whispering to me their story; a thousand doors into love, fury and glory . . . _____________________ June 5, 2020 Submitted to Brian's Select 5 Standard Contest sponsor, Brian Strand, HM

Indeed I too have got many books in my home library but sadly for me they have all been read. So, I’m bored to death now. Really nice poem. Rashi

I too have 'so many books, my shelves groan' - in my city the local libraries have been closed due to covid-19 since mid-March, with no signs of opening soon; that is the biggest impact on me, personally - I really miss my library!
