A Thanks Giving Poem
A Thanksgiving Prayer
And the spirit of America was out walking around
looking for new king
one bold and brave enough
to change everything
and strong enough to pull her reigns back
toward a high standard of morals
according to the words of the God in which we trust
a new America under a new system
And didn't our fathers start out
wanting to build a kingdom of God
Oh, Manessa
who has blessed you
who will curse you
your president cannot save you
let's all repent and go back to that place where we belong
and do what we do best and turn away
from doing those things that we know are wrong
this we must do
if we're ever going to rise up out of the ashes
to once again be healthy and strong
let us learn from our mistakes
so that we just might become a human race
worthy to spread out into the heavens
and I know
that for this they long
