A Tear In My Eye

A tear in my eye
the taste of brandy lingers
warming glow in my belly

thoughts of you drift through my mind
content smile emerges

The warming effect of brandy can play tricks on us...which leaves me wondering what, in reality, caused that tear in the eye!:) Best regards // paul

Very calming, George! Add a purring cat and a fireplace and the picture is complete.
