A Tale From the Moon

Tiding over the scurrying thoughts,
Living through the half illuminated dreams that trots.
Facing all the vile and the divided opinions,
Unflinching and calm like the ignored minions.

You are the moon which is in the dark,
Evident only when the Sun reflects it's light, stark.
You see no Moon when there is no Sun,
Yet, it creates the ripples and tides synonymous with fun.

Be the moon that soothes the pain.
Even if you are ignored and do not gain,
In the game of life with ripples of glee and despair.
Scattering the refreshing moonlight is but a silent affair.

Even if you stay in dark, silence the critics with your elegance,
Shining in the glory of your perseverance.
Be like the moon that causes the tides,
Inspire everyone with your determined strides.
