A Swear of Forever
A melody to my ears,his laughter
Making my heart, as always, flutter
With him, nothing else matter
Knowing this, the heart never falter.
Talking animatedly with a cup of coffee
In our own world, only him is what I see
Oh, what a splendid glee
When he finally looked at me.
In the eyes we stare
Remembering the years we love and care
Happiness surge in like flare
Seeing a future we'll share.
And as we grow old together
Promising each other's cater
A swear of forever
Looking back at the past, in the arms of the other.
